Should You Pay Attention to This Game?

If you love football and want to earn money from your hobby as well as having fun watching football, Sorare is ideal. No financial investment is required to start playing. In contrast to real football, the team here is not made up of 11, but 5 players. When you register you get 11 trading cards to put your team together and start playing. The project has licenses from leading football clubs from all over the world, so it is definitely worth trying to play.

Advantages and Disadvantages of Sorare

Advantages

Disadvantages

  • Football collector cards can be traded directly on the in-game platform
  • Most game cards are inexpensive
  • The gaming platform is available in 9 languages
  • The smartphone version has less functionality than the Web version of the game

SOR token

The Sorare SOR token is not a cryptocurrency, as Sorare offers unique digital assets in the form of NFTs. SOR is based on the Ethereum ERC-721 standard, which is used for non-playable assets on Ethereum. This means that users can freely trade SOR tokens through the Sorare platform and compatible Ethereum applications (such as the MetaMask cryptocurrency wallet). Each SOR token represents a unique team or player, that is, a unique asset that can be tracked on public blockchain servers such as EtherScan. There are currently 329,383 SOR in circulation, priced at £64.39 per token.

How exactly I can make money in Sorare?

How exactly I can make money in Sorare?

There are two ways to earn money in Sorare - by playing in tournaments or by selling player cards.

Tournaments

When registering, the user gets 11 base cards from which a team can be formed. You can put together a team but you can't expect to get much out of it. You must buy at least 4 uncommon cards to turn your squad into a steady, passive income. The investment of two hundred pounds will pay for itself in about three months, then it will start to generate income through prizes in the form of Etherium and player cards won in tournaments.

Selling cards

As well as earning prizes from tournaments, you can make money in Sorare by reselling cards.
There are several strategies for making money on reselling cards:

Buying Reserves. One of the most common tactics to try and make money on transfers. This strategy is based on the purchase of reserve cards of players with high potential. While the player is still on the bench, the card is cheap. But when a player will be fielded for an injury or other reason, his card will increase significantly, and you can sell it for a nice profit. Another way to buy a reserve player is by moving to another club, where he will play in the first team, and this will add a big profit to his score.

Buying injured players. Another popular tactic to make money is buying a player who is injured. The more serious the injury, the more the price of an injured player will drop. A serious injury can put a player out of action for months. If you buy a card with such an injury, it will be sold for several times as much, once the player is stronger again.

Buying youngsters. The most difficult and time consuming method, which is suitable only for those who know football. It consists of investing in a long-term squad with young, underrated players, who will be solidly lined up as star players in the next couple of years. The difficulty is that you need to scout out young talent that no one has seen yet. Buy them in bulk and then wait years until one of them is found.

You can sell your player cards for a profit in your own Sorare shop or on the OpenSea website.

Game cards

The general mechanics of Sorare are based around the sale and purchase of cards. The user makes up a team of 5 players and participates with them in tournaments and championships. If a player does something productive in real life, e.g. keeping his goal intact, not getting yellow cards during a season etc., the game raises his rating and the money value in the market-platform.

The playing cards in Sorare are divided into five types:

  • Common — are free grey cards that are awarded for free and for winning tournaments. They are of low value.
  • Limited — Yellow cards, which run for 1000 cards of a particular player per year. They are worth tens of pounds.
  • Rare — Red cards: Draw 100 of a certain player's cards a year. You can get them for winning tournaments, as a bonus for participating in a referral programme. They are much more expensive than ordinary cards - tens or hundreds of pounds sterling.
  • Super Rare —  are blue cards, with a circulation of 10 cards of a particular player per year. They can be bought or won in tournaments. They cost up to £1,500.
  • Unique  is a brown card with a circulation of 1 card of a certain player per year. They can be bought or won in tournaments. Costs a few thousand pounds sterling.

Game modes

Sorare has five main game modes, which differ from each other in terms of player card requirements:

  •  Common - 5 Common cards are required
  • Limited - 5 Limited cards are required
  • Rare - At least 4 Rare cards and no more than 1 Common card are needed
  • Super Rare - At least 3 Super Rare cards with 1 Rare and / or 1 Unique card
  • Unique - At least 3 Unique cards with at most 2 Super Rare cards

Mix mode is also available, which provides an opportunity for practice games. Cards that are not used in the game modes can be used to create training teams, during which the base characteristics of the players will be increased.

New Team

Depending on the set of cards available, choose a game mode. We will be prompted to change the team composition. After making changes to the team composition, press Confirm, and wait for the real matches to finish.
