In order to run algorithm in automatic trading mode you need:

  • Register on the site and pay for any tariff.
  • Choose a trading strategy.You can use one of the ready-made algorithms or develop your own algorithm, if you have a basic knowledge of programming. On the home page you can find some proven algorithms such as EMA, MACD, Ichimoku.
  • Test the selected algorithm on historical data for a particular platform. Do not neglect this important step in testing any system. To do this, you should set the parameters for the test on the page with the source code of the algorithm: instrument (eg, BTC/USD), the trading interval (with how often the algorithm will receive market data), the time period. After all the necessary settings, press Backtest to start testing. Before you start it, you can specify such parameters as initial deposit and exchange commitments. After the end of the test the Log window will contain the test results - the initial balance and the final results in terms of money.
  • Now, if the test results are satisfactory, by pressing Trade you can run the algorithm in the mode of real trading (automated trading) or simulated trading. For the simulation mode it is enough to specify the initial balance, and after starting the algorithm will process the market data and inform by e-mail the trading results, as well as display the operation log. For the real trading mode it is necessary to specify the API keys of the exchange where you trade, which are available in the control panel.

Also when working with Cryptotrader it is necessary to remember the following:

  • There are no wallets for cryptocurrency on Cryptotrader. Bots are connected directly to the account on the exchange;
  • It is not recommended to connect several bots to one Crypto Wallet so that they do not compete with each other for the funds placed there.
