Epic League Review: What Is, How to Play and Make Money

Today we are introducing you to Epic League, a blockchain-based gaming ecosystem made for players, guilds and games. It will be creating games and hubs on the blockchain as well.

They're releasing their first game this June, a role-playing game called Dark Throne.

If you want to learn more about the project, take a look at their team and gameplay footage, read on to the end.

Epic League Tokenomics

tokenallocation

Token allocation for Marketing & Listing may be used on listing of $EPL on exchanges and providing additional liquidity as a form of promotion.

All $EPL vesting is unlocked every second. In practical applications, the unlock is performed as block time is accumulated.

Redundancy of the allocation for Reward & Ecosystem can be invested in new content service providers for expanding our ecosystem more.

For more details on the tokenomics of the project, see the whitepaper.

Partners and Backers

backers

Epic League finished their seed round with some top funds and angel investors such as YGG SEA,  IVC (Infinity Ventures Crypto), (Global Blockchain Innovative Capital) GBIC, WEMADE, and Thomas Vu from MOON HOLDINGS who took the advisor position as well.

Epic League has raised a million dollars in its first seed funding round.

Now, let’s talk a bit more regarding their partnership with YGG SEA or YIELD GUILD GAMES Sout East Asia.

If you are not familiar with YGG SEA, it is a guild in which members perform actions for a fee. They have great opportunities and are designed to build long-term relationships between guild members.

YGG SEA is currently with 10000+ active scholars, and is partnered with 60+ P2E games.

Ecosystem Assets

The Epic League tokens are categorized into three types. The goal is to have as few tokens for participants to choose from in order to keep things simple and avoid being too tricky for partners and contributors.

  • Non-fungible tokens (NFTs) are a store of value and a means of differentiating the EPIC LEAGUE ecosystem from conventional experience of gaming. They are guaranteed to be used by each game in the ecosystem. NFTs from EPIC LEAGUE ecosystem follow ERC-721/1155 token or equivalent standard.
  • Governance tokens of the EPIC LEAGUE ecosystem ($EPL) follow the general ERC-20 token or equivalent standard. They work as shares of the ecosystem, currency to trade/mint NFTs, means of staking, etc.
  • Epic Jewels are in-game consumable assets which can be exchanged with $EPL token. Each game of EPIC LEAGUE uses a separate Epic Jewel from other games.

How exactly can I make money in Epic League?

Providing incentives to those who play their games is the main goal of Epic League. They will provide rewards for in-game activities and provide more valuable prizes to players who are motivated. It's not just about giving away freebies - you're actually getting something great back from the company as well!

There are three types of reward:

  • Dedicated in-game-only assets or consumables for gameplay only.
  • Epic Jewels which can be monetized or spent.
  • Tradable NFTs which have their own functions.

Epic League Hub

EPIC LEAGUE Hub has offered gamers the opportunity to enjoy the game world by providing an NFT marketplace, guild supporting tools and staking pool. In the Hub, a new guild management tool is available. It allows guild managers and players to stay on top of properties and revenue with ease. The tools also provide an Epic League's Autonomous Guild System.

And as for games, they are preparing to launch not just one but two games this year – Dark Throne and Twilight Fantasy.
