India is one of the top three countries in terms of Web 3.0 specialists

NASSCOM analysts released a new study on the state of the blockchain industry in India. It turns out that there are more than 75,000 Web 3.0 specialists - 11% of the world's total. That's why India has the 3rd largest workforce in the world.
The country has more than 450 startups and four Web 3.0 companies have achieved unicorn status (their capitalization exceeds $1 billion). More than 60% of Indian projects have expanded outside the country.
Most of the startups are working on DeFi applications, NFT marketplaces, meta-universes and DAOs. But there are also more specific industries. Blockchain technology is modernizing healthcare, agriculture, security, finance, education, and so on.
