192 Blockchain-encrypted Bible Verses Already Purchased in CryptoVerses Project

Tel Aviv, Israel, October 19, 2021.

CryptoVerses, a revolutionary NFT project that encrypts Bible verses on the blockchain, today announced that since the inception of the project, four months ago, 192 Bible verses have already been purchased. In the last ten days new verses have been purchased daily.
NFT (non-fungible token) is a unique encrypted unit of data stored on the blockchain. It represents items such as photos, paintings, videos, text, audio, and more.
To date, the CryptoVerses project has encrypted a total of 5,844 verses from the Torah, which includes the first five books of the Bible: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy. All verses are classified into special collections, based on 45 stories and 536 biblical scenes. NFTs from the collection can be purchased on CryptoVerses’ website via the presale page at https://cryptoverses.io/sale . The NFTs are traded on the OpenSea marketplace.

Some examples of the blockchain-encrypted Bible verses that were sold include the following topics: the creation of the world; Moses and Pharaoh; the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah; the Yom Kippur laws; the breastplate of the high priest and more.
The project uses the Ethereum blockchain, the most widely used platform to create crypto tokens. It allows buyers to confirm sole ownership of a particular unique digital crypto version of a Biblical verse and verify the authenticity of this version. “The unique crypto version, which is actually a crypto token that cannot be copied or altered, can be given by the buyer to someone he/she holds dear, can be given as a gift for a bar mitzvah or wedding, or can be kept by the owner as a collectible that can be later sold on the blockchain,” said Yonatan Bendahan, CryptoVerses’ Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer.
“Each verse is blockchain-encrypted in both English and Hebrew, the original language of the Bible, so the project helps to protect the Bible from alterations, thus preserving it for future generations, which will become more and more digitally oriented,” said Yuval Meyraz,” CryptoVerses’ Co-Founder and Chief Business Development Officer.
