cryptocurrency prices aug 2 2021

Bitcoin showed good dynamics this weekend, delighting investors with a slight increase. The rise in quotations began on Friday night, when BTC rose sharply above $42,000 from the $39,000 mark. After that BTC started trading in the range of $41,000-$42,000 and once showed false break-up to the levels of about $42,600.

However, last night the bulls' forces weakened and the first cryptocurrency quotations fell below $40,000, where they are now.

Altcoins showed commensurate dynamics. At first they were growing together with the market's flagship, and then they fell in price in exactly the same way. Some showed a more significant drop, some are trading near yesterday's marks or even rising. Among the falling coins from the top 100, SC (-11%) and DCR (-12%) are worth mentioning.

UMI showed mixed dynamics this weekend, but the bears were stronger. Over the last 24 hours, the coin's price has dropped 14%. It is now trading at $0.24.
